About Our Founder: Dr. Venessa Graydon
Dr. Graydon grew up in the Winnipeg/Oakbank area of Manitoba and attended the University of Manitoba until being accepted into the Western College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan. She has been practicing mixed animal veterinary medicine since 2006. In May 2009, she began running her own clinics in St-Pierre-Jolys and Vita in Manitoba. Dr. Graydon enjoys practicing in a rural area and loves the variety of working with both companion and agricultural animals. In her time off, Dr. Graydon enjoys spending time with her family and her dogs Rusty, Kane, and Tuffy.
About Dr. Anne Whipple
Dr. Whipple grew up in Wisconsin before attending a small college in Minnesota for her undergraduate degree. After graduation, Dr. Whipple moved to Ireland, where she spent the last 13 years living and working in County Kilkenny. She qualified as a veterinary nurse and worked both rural mixed companion and farm animal practice as well as in a small animal emergency setting before returning to college to become a veterinarian. While moving to Manitoba has been a big change from rural Ireland, Dr. Whipple has been enjoying getting to know the community here. In her spare time, she plays hockey with a local team, likes exploring new walks with her dog Marley, and spending time relaxing at home with her family.
About Dr. Julia Domke
Dr.Dr. Domke spent two summers with us at Graydon Vet, so we knew we wanted her to join our team!
